Job - ACCOUNTANT

Required Qualifications: Education / Certifications / Licensure / Specialized Training-

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience / Skills:

• 7 years experience with strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and similar programs
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills 

Preferred Qualifications:
Education / Certifications / Licensure / Specialized Training-

• MBA or CPA

Experience / Skills / Competencies-

•  Experience with Lawson software

Essential Position Duties:
1. Guides, trains and develops other Accountants
2. Analyzes various budget expense items, identifies reconciling items, and identifies internal controls needed
3. Supervises the maintenance of various system files used in departmental reporting and cost allocation systems.
4. Produces and disseminates departmental financial statements
