Job Description
Support and co-ordinate the sales and account management activities for the Sales Representatives, primarily in relation to the designated corporate, TMC, retail and tour operator accounts. Key activities center around the requirement to deliver both “on the spot” decision making as well as ongoing project development, telesales, and developing own sales portfolio of accounts.
Requirements
5 - 6 years commercial experience, preferably with an airline in a similar role. Experience with airline and industry reporting systems, detailing revenue, (ARC) sales, advance bookings, experienced GDS user - preferably on SABRE. University degree preferred.
Training & knowledge
Strong Ticketing and Reservations experience
Familiar with Travel Agency procedures: ARC reporting, debit/credit memos
Database management
Able to work independently, using own initiative, highly organized and able to work under pressure; Ability to multi-task
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Analytical skills and adept at statistical management; IATA fares training
Adept at Microsoft Office packages, incl; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
Understanding the importance of delivering outstanding service to the company’s most important clients and own account managers
Responsibilities
Contract & ROIF preparations; working knowledge of Revenue Plus; Maintain agent database in Salesforce.com; telesales activities; Coordinate agent waiver requests & ADM queries; Coordinate and handling group requests; Create monthly revenue / sales / market share reports; Calculate incentive payments and liaise with HO accounts; Assist in the organization of marketing and sales promotions;
Sales fare bulletin distribution to preferred agents; Attend sales promotional events & tradeshows; Coordinate agency familiarization tripsCoordinate and prepare weekly reports
