Job description

Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, accounting system integration with association membership database, and financial statements for 4 entities (AGC Colorado, Foundation, Political Action Committee, and AGC/Carpenters LMCC).  Position also manages phone & IT system by working with an outside IT Consultant.  Accountant is also part of the team that provides excellent customer service to members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process and provide support in the completion of multiple payrolls, including Domestic and International
• Manage the daily payroll interface of files from WorkDay to ADP PayExpert by importing and auditing of data which includes, but is not limited to benefits, new hires, terminations, compensation changes, job title changes, address changes, direct deposit changes, federal and state tax changes, manager changes, departmental changes, etc.
• Manage the month end, quarter end, and year end processing of finance journal entries, including pulling data from the ADP GL interface module and creating text files for data support
• Manage with various audit and SOX compliance reporting and testing
• Identify opportunities for improving processes to create efficiencies and the accurate reporting of information

Experience

Requires a 4 year degree in Accounting or Business and at least five years relevant experience
