Role Mission: Reporting to the IT Director – Beverage Concentrates Sales, Marketing, and R&D, the IT Manager – Beverage Concentrates and Marketing supports our sales team in the concentrates route-to-market as well as the Marketing business function in all aspects of IT. The IT Manager is a business facing role and is responsible for delivering projects, prioritizing and offering guidance on system enhancements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and providing input to our strategic IT direction and annual planning process. Our ideal candidate has strong process knowledge in sales processes, trade promotion management, managing sales opportunities and execution by third-party partners of marketing, merchandizing, and sales objectives at retail. Experience in the consumer products industry, particularly beverage experience, is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Deliver projects, facilitate enhancement prioritization and support lean six sigma and other continuous improvement initiatives for the sales and marketing areas
Provide guidance, process flows and strategic direction on new capabilities particularly in the mobile (iOS), Portal (SharePoint), actionable business intelligence (Micro Strategy), e-commerce merchandizing and marketing spaces. Bottler execution will be a key area of focus in this role
Work closely with our global ADM partner to ensure smooth daily operations for the business; act as the key point of contact for escalations from stakeholders and work with support team to resolve issues in a timely manner
Foster business relationships and work directly and effectively with stakeholders without assistance from internal Dr Pepper IT employees
Lead and partner with multiple business stakeholders in a service provider environment of continuous change; provide ideas on how to improve business processes and make day-to-day business functions more efficient
Drive and manage own tasks effectively; work independently and be an effective contributor in a diversified team
Practice excellent analytical problem solving skills – ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
Confidently and assertively liaise with business users and middle/senior management
Demonstrate business-focused and influencing skills and deliver high quality service to stakeholders
Proactively study the consumer goods industry and technology trends in order to provide insights and recommendations in support of the DPS key priorities and initiatives

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Degree focus should be in either an analytical track, such as Engineering, MIS or Mathematics, or should have a strong business focus.
2 years of software experience with one or more of the following packages is preferred: SAP CRM, Salesforce.com, Siebel, SAP BW/BO, Microstrategy, iOS applications.
10 years of experience in either a consulting organization, IT organization or for a software company focused on the consumer products industry.
2 years of experience with mobile application design and development particularly in the area of sales and retail execution and business analytics/intelligence
3 years of project implementation experience as a team lead on 2 – 3 major IT projects or IT project management experience with IT implementation
