Job - Administrator Business Development



American Airlines Federal Credit Union is looking for a positive, outgoing, energetic, passionate professional who is a motivated self starter to join our Business Development team. This position may be based in any city where AA Credit Union has branch operations.

Responsibilities:
Identify through research, prospecting, farming and cold calling companies that fall within the field of membership of American Airlines Federal Credit Union.
Consults with and interviews TIP company prospects about their employees’ financial goals and needs and identifies and promotes credit union products, loans, and services to best meet those needs.
Maintain knowledge of products and services offered by the Credit Union in order to answer questions and cross-sell appropriate products to contacts, members and potential members.
Conducts on-site new employee orientations, membership drives, and presents financial seminars and presentations.
Partner with Business Development Manager, Branch Managers, and Marketing for Credit Union promotions, product development and branch-targeted marketing strategies.
Maintain existing relationships with companies that fall within the field of membership by building a strong rapport with decision makers and maintaining frequent personal contact with established accounts.
Increase overall awareness of the benefits of credit union membership in a manner that results in new member participation and increased existing member participation by promoting all of AA Credit Union’s products and services.

Qualifications 
A four year college degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Two years of sales/marketing/business development experience that includes identifying, researching, establishing and maintaining relationships with clients is preferred. A proven and verifiable record of success in meeting sales goals is required.
Previous credit union experience is strongly preferred.
Above average proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, EXCEL, and Power Point is required. Experience with SalesForce or Customer Relationship Management programs preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish or another language is strongly preferred.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients through the use of consultative sales skills.
In-depth knowledge of AA Credit Union’s entire product and service offerings, policies and procedures.
A strong member focus and the ability to manage high member expectations is essential.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is required
Must be a self starter and posses the ability to work autonomously.
Superior oral, written and presentation skills are required.
A positive attitude is paramount.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account information and Credit Union documents and that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Job level to be determined based upon qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
